On 20th June, Japaflex touched down in Birmingham, bringing the energy, the movement, and the community spirit to Summerfield Park, and trust us, the city showed up and showed out.

This wasn’t just another Cardio Tennis session. Birmingham residents decided to add their own flavour to it by turning the event into an All-White experience, and we delivered without leaving crumbs. From the outfits to the energy on the court, everything came together in style.

The day was all about community, connection, and good vibes. We brought together residents from across Birmingham for a session that blended fitness with fun, creating an atmosphere where everyone - from beginners to more experienced players - could get involved, get active, and just enjoy the moment.

We had participants travel all the way from Kent, Ashford, just to be part of the experience. That alone says a lot about what Japaflex is building; something people want to be part of, no matter the distance.

Throughout the session, there were friendly competitions, plenty of laughter, and a real sense of togetherness. To top it all off, participants walked away with exciting gifts, courtesy of our partners at SimlessPay, adding that extra spark to an already electric day.

Beyond the tennis, what stood out most was the energy of the community. People connected, conversations flowed, and for a few hours, it wasn’t just about sport, it was about belonging.

At Japaflex, this is exactly what we aim to create: spaces where people can come together, stay active, and build meaningful connections within their local communities.
